Work in good condition. Solid half leather binding with gilt corners and titles and frieze (lily of France) on the spine with 5 raised bands, in good condition: slight peeling on the covers and on the edges of the plates, whitish spots on the leather of the plates. Gilded head cut, traces of dust on the cuts. Publisher's paperback preserved. The frontispiece engraving in bistre has stained the backing paper and protective tissue paper. Limited edition of 300 copies on Papier Vélin d'Arches (our copy bears n. 66) of this biography of the daughters of Louis XV and Marie Leszczynska illustrated by 24 plates ft protected by talking tissue of portraits, views, fac similar to documents. In the Appendix the unpublished documents cited on the title page: letters, documents, memoirs. Our specimen is further enhanced by an illustrious provenance: in fact, it comes from the library of the Chateau d'Ermenonville
