Vento, XVI Century

Late Gothic walnut chest, Veneto, 16th century. Decorated with eight panels carved directly into the solid wood, four on the front and two on each side, depicting rosettes, frets and typical elements of the Gothic style. Standing on feral feet. Fir interior. Plan with restorations and replacements; a backrest board and the under-top band were also replaced.

Bar cabinet, a unique piece of furniture designed by Gianni Moscatelli for a private customer, the piece of furniture can also be used as a centerpiece, with ceiling uprights, a storage compartment with hinged doors embellished with a design by Gianfranco Gilardi, support surfaces, one of which is rotatable. Enamelled metal uprights, with brass terminals, walnut veneered wood, surfaces and doors covered in imitation leather (not original from the period for the one with 2 shelves). Restored.

19th Century / 1801 - 1900

Pair of wooden vase holding columns, entirely lacquered in chinoiserie style. Shaped, the base has a tall painted plinth with red and black chequered reserves. On the four uprights, there are small tiles with a busy outline, they are decorated with floral motifs of oriental taste in the middle. On the four main sides there are bigger reserves, the middle ones are painted with oriental scenes: exotic plants with colourful birds, landscapes with pagodas, where aristocrats live, and palanquins carried by servants. On the top part, there is a small shaped and ebonized shelf.

Italy, second quarter of the 19th century

Neo-Renaissance column in carved wood, black lacquered and gilded, Italy second quarter of the 19th century. Upper end decorated with a double row of Greek frets, one of which is ribbed, lower with a leafy frieze. Stem embellished with candelabra motifs made up of curls, screaming winged masks, scrolls of leaves, vine leaves and bunches of grapes, interspersed with lighted torches and festoons of fruit, placed above large leafy inserts. The decorative apparatus is completed by a frieze of shells and leafy curls placed in the upper part of the stem.

Pair of large self-supporting eclectic shelves in carved and gilded wood, Italy third quarter 19th century. Shaped tops covered in velvet, uprights made up of a shaped back part against which, on the front, are carved pilaster-style architectural elements in Baroque style, the latter composed of "S"-shaped volutes with curls at the ends. The pilasters are also decorated with leaf elements and floral festoons held together by ribbons. Partially recovered gilding.
