Antique Baroque Console Gilded Wood Marble Top XVIII Century - Florence, Mid XVIII Century

Venetian baroque console supported by wavy legs, the apron on the front and sides is carved with characteristic rocaille motifs. In walnut, the shaped top is in alabaster with a border in black marble and white Botticino.

Pair of neoclassical consoles from Piacenza, supported by truncated pyramidal legs ending with pear-shaped feet, in the upper part they are tightened by collars. Walnut.

Lombardy, Early XVIII Century

Pair of baroque walnut consoles, Lombardy, early 18th century. The front is composed of a succession of curls and wavy elements, according to a well-defined design; reserves, leafy and shell-shaped elements and small festoons with a flower in the centre, falling from the upper part of the uprights, complete the front decorative apparatus. Shaped top, crosspieces and turned rear uprights, the latter protruding laterally compared to the front uprights and embellished with a bulbous element placed at half their height. The layout and the carvings of the front present a typically Lombard layout, characterized by a strong resemblance to a group of seats of Fantonian origin, included within the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts at the Castello Sforzesco museum complex in Milan.

Kingdom of the Two Sicilies First Quarter 19th Century

Gueridon supported by three uprights carved with lion feet and in the upper part with caryatids, to support the undertop band. The female figures are standing, dressed according to the Egyptian taste: they wear a low-cut dress that leaves the breasts uncovered, tightened at the waist by a belt, they wear bracelets and necklaces, while the hair is styled according to the Egyptian taste, with braids that fall neatly on the shoulders. These figures are partly ebonized, to make the skin, while the clothes and details are gilded. The legs are connected by a platform in the shape of a concave triangle. The circular top is in alabaster, enclosed within a cherry veneered frame.

Lombardy second quarter XVIII century

Writing desk resting on wavy legs with goat feet, drawer in the band under the top, top and riser with carved crown depicting plant motifs and central star. On the bottom, the riser has a coeval protrusion indicating that the piece of furniture belongs to a boiserie, probably a bookcase. The piece of furniture is decorated with inlays depicting floral motifs present in the solid wood of the top and walnut briar veneer with maple threads also present on the drawer and upstand. Circular top in various essences of marble, with polychrome checkerboard in the center; the marble is framed in a rosewood support, supported by a central turned baluster resting on three shaped and fluted feet.
