This is how Alphonse Mas, president of the Société Pomologique de France, presents his work: “You have created over 20 years a vast garden fruitier in the same way that you want to find the greatest number of varieties, old or new connues in France et à l'étranger. In individual sheets the fruit tree and the fruit itself are described in all its characteristics and the origin of each variety is reported : there are ancient fruits and new varieties created by fruit growers from all over the world.
